In this project, the team from ProNatur – die Gartenmacher laid a wooden terrace on a stone slope. The right foundation was particularly important to anchor the terrace firmly in the ground and prevent the slope from slipping.
1. FOUNDATION AND SLOPE STABILIZATION
Building a wooden terrace on a slope poses a particular challenge. First of all, the team from ProNatur – die Gartenmacher had to secure the slope against slipping.
2. SUBSTRUCTURE MADE OF STONE AND WOOD
A stable substructure that compensates for the slope of the hillside is of great importance. Static knowledge and precise calculations are also required.
3. WOODEN PLANKS FOR CLADDING
Beautiful wooden floorboards are not only sustainable, but also a real eye-catcher. When laying the decking, our team also made sure that rainwater can run off easily and the decking wood therefore remains durable.
